With the implementation of total 5-channel IDE interfaces and two gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, the SI-1N motherboard is built for performance conscious storage appliance servers. The SI-1N motherboard not only features Intel's new generation micro-architecture technologies such as Rapid Execution Engine and higher clock speed but also provides RAID function for enhanced data protection. In addition, the DOM connection and internal I/O connection supports can further facilitate more versatile and sophisticated storage appliance designs.
