Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C., November 21st 2003 - Today, ABIT is launching the largest contest ever in Scandinavian history at ABIT Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. The 'Play ABIT In Your Game' contest consists of 2 sections: 'Drive ABIT DigiDice™ Home' & 'Play ABIT In Your Game Contest'.

Part 1: Drive ABIT DigiDice™ Home

The 'Drive ABIT DigiDice™ Home' is an on-line car racing game, designed for ABIT's revolutionary new mini-barebone PC - DigiDice™. Surrounded by beautiful snowy Scandinavia, users driving the DigiDice™ home will encounter obstacles that are actually the most common computers problems such as slowness, system crashes, overheating, "blue screens of death", etc. Upon reaching the finish line, they will then enter a simple survey about their local preferences.

Give away X'mas Prizes on December 5th & 23rd

ABIT has teamed up with Corsair Memory and Thermaltake for the contest. On 5th December, ABIT will draw the first ABIT Home DigiDice™ Station, including INTEL CPU, Corsair XMS TwinX512-3200C2PT memory, DVD-ROM, and at the end of the contest (December 23rd), ABIT will draw 4 winners from all Scandinavian participants.

Part 2: Play ABIT In Your Game Contest
ABIT is looking for Scandinavia's most creative ideas

The Play ABIT In Your Game Contest is a competition about the most creative, imaginative Scandinavian ideas. The main objective of the contest is to invite Scandinavian people to contribute their best, most creative gaming ideas on how to promote ABIT - the most innovative brand in the motherboards, graphics cards and mini PCs - in the games of the gaming industry.

Participants can have ideas about a specific game they are familiar with, or a certain game category, or gaming in general. They can focus on marketing ideas, technological innovation, or a combination of both.

This is a competition about creativity and imagination, but on the other hand, the plan should be able to be practically executed in the real world. As a result, 60% of the plan will be assessed on creativity and the rest 40 % will be counted on practicality.

The competition starts from November 21st, and will end on January 31st, 2004.

Throughout the contest, ABIT will provide information on several topics to help spur some creative ideas. ABIT will release special information on a weekly basis, and the topics are listed below.

November 26th - Insight Sweden - ABIT Nordics takes you inside Sweden's two largest sites: 'SweClockers.com' & 'Nordic Hardware'. ABIT will interview the editors about their personal background, home computers, game interests, and their thoughts on the current hardware and game developments.

December 5th - Gamers Taipei Shopping Guide - Pretty Maggie, ABIT's Asia Pacific Regional Marketing Manager, will take visitors around the heart of Taipei's Akiba, searching one of the world's most dense, clustered gaming and computer shops. Moreover, she will present Taiwan's newest gaming and pop hardware developments via an interview with the Chief Editor of Computer DIY Magazine.

December 19th - AKIBA GEISHA - AKIBA is the Mecca for the people who are crazy about PC and GAMES in Japan. AKIBA GEISHA is a special report from lovely Satoko Mika, ABIT Japanese Marketing Manager, taking you to Japan – a land of advanced gaming and extreme overclocking.

To sum up, this is the largest contest held by a motherboard manufacturer ever in Scandinavian history.
