June 7, 2006 – Universal ABIT, successor to the legendary ABIT motherboard brand, plans to make a major leap and announce its new Brand Image and Corporate Identity at a press conference held during Computex 2006. The purpose of Universal ABIT's new CI and BI is to deliver a clear message that ABIT has moved into her next phase of evolution as a company.
To stand out from other Taiwanese motherboard manufacturers, Universal ABIT is redesigning its 17 years old logotype. The new gentle logo shape is designed to symbolize ABIT's maturity as a company and will replace the former sharp, hard-lined & strong design, and marks the beginning of a new corporate identity and technology brand image. In addition to this, Universal ABIT is incorporating a new color scheme in its typography to visually differentiate and categorize the various product lines.
Universal ABIT is in the process of repositioning itself from IT manufacturing to technology design and brand management. There is no doubt that partnering with USI is the most efficient way to develop a variety of product lines while maintaining true excellence in manufacturing and engineering. Universal ABIT will soon unveil a new innovation in sound called iDome – the first digital PC speakers to utilize a purely digital (DDD) signal process.
To further satisfy the growing demand for home entertainment and Media Center PCs Universal ABIT will also present the ViiV certified IL80-MV motherboard. With unique ABIT engineered cooling technology the IL80-MV combines extreme silence with rock solid stability. With full HDMI support from the IL80-MV, and true digital sound from the iDome 2.1-channel speaker set, Universal ABIT has created the ideal base for the High Definition living-room experience of tomorrow. The chairman of Universal ABIT states that the company will not only uphold the highest quality in service and manufacturing, but also offer a greater variety of computer related products in the future. |
