ABIT Engineered Hardware Intelligence: μGuru
 ABIT
μGuru is a new microprocessor designed by the ABIT Engineers for use only
on ABIT motherboards. μGuru conveniently combines several useful hardware
monitoring, overclocking, BIOS flashing and audio tweaking functions into
one easy to use, windows-based interface. μGuru combines the ABIT Engineered
features ABIT EQ, ABIT FanEQ, ABIT OC Guru, ABIT FlashMenu, ABIT AudioEQ
and ABIT BlackBox into a user-friendly interface providing users the perfect
environment with which to maximize performance and stability. μGuru effectively
frees your CPU resources from performing these functions, further increasing
system performance.
The Evolution of OTES
The original OTES redefined VGA cooling to the point where manufacturers
are now using gimmicks like multiple fan combinations on VGA cards in
a vain effort to match the cooling prowess of OTES. Now, in the interests
of cooling and performance, OTES has been redesigned to cool the hottest
part of a motherboard: the PWM power regulation mosfets and capacitors.
While active cooling on the northbridge has been developed in recent years,
the PWM area has been completely ignored. OTES fills this need, while
also serving to exhaust air outside of the PC case.

your hard disk, not with a password, but with encryption. A password can
be cracked by software in a few hours. ABIT's SecureIDE will keep government
supercomputers busy for weeks and will keep anyone away from your "special"
files.
MAXimum LAN
With on board 3COM Gigabit LAN, ABIT KV8-MAX3 users have overclocked
LAN: 3COM Gigabit LAN increases throughput by 50%, with real-world gains
of up to 30%.
MAXimum Performance
The KV8-MAX3 is tuned up and ready to rumble. For extreme overclocking,
it has been designed with an onboard 4-phase power solution to ensure
stability while overclocking the latest generation of CPUs. As well, we
have used Rubycon capacitors throughout the board. Rubycon capacitors
from Japan are the highest quality capacitors and the best for overclocking.
Other manufacturers use Rubycons sparingly to conserve cost, but ABIT
users demand more, so we have used all Rubycon capacitors on the KV8-MAX3.
MAXimum Multimedia
Only ABIT offers SPDIF In/Out for the ultimate in multimedia connectivity.
Due to our extensive experience in audio technology with our speaker systems
