Q: Why does my µGuru POST code hang at 90? (All µGuru models: AA8XE, AA8XE-3rd Eye, AA8-DuraMax, AA8-3rd Eye, AG8, AG8-3rd Eye, AG8-V, AI7, AN7, AN8 SLI, AN8, AN8-3rd Eye, AN8-V, AS8, AS8-3rd Eye, AS8-V, AV8, AV8-3rd Eye, AX8, AX8-3rd Eye, AX8-V, KV8 Pro, KV8 Pro-3rd Eye)
A:

Basically, µGuru has 3 sequences (full list please click here)

PONSEQ (Power On Sequence): 81~8F & 90.
POFSEQ (Power Off Sequence): 91~99.
FPOFSEQ (Force Power Off Sequence): 9A~9F
Function states: F0~F4

In some cases, 90 means Power On Sequence (PONSEQ), which enables the hardware monitor & Fan EQ. Generally, hanging at 90 means a failed overclock.

If the system fails during the Power On Sequence (PONSEQ), the system would also force a Power Off Sequence (FPOFSEQ).

Thus, if users encounter this issue, please also report the post code before 90 if possible. This will help us to quickly determine the cause of the problem.
