PC
World
Italy
chooses
ABIT
BH6
and
BX6
as
the
best
Mainboards
of
1998!
Taipei,
Taiwan,
R.O.C.
March
24th,
1999
-
In
their
January
issue,
the
editors
of
PCWorld
Italy
presented
their
selections
for
the
best
products
of
the
past
year.
They
looked
at
a
very
wide
variety
of
categories
including
printers,
CD-ROM
drives,
soundcards
and
even
digital
cameras.
One
winner
in
each
category
was
named
"Top
Product
of
1998".
The
motherboard
selection
was
somewhat
unique
though.
PC
World
Italy
could
not
choose
one
single
winner.
Torn
between
both
of
ABIT's
top
products,
the
BH6
and
the
BX6,
the
editors
decided
to
name
them
both
top
product
of
the
year,
truly
reflecting
the
achievements
of
an
entire
company,
and
not
just
one
individual
product.
PC
world
Italy
felt
that
both
the
BH6
and
the
BX6
were
unparalleled
in
terms
of
userfriendliness
(due
ABIT's
unique
Soft
Menu
feature),
pricing
and
over
all
ABIT
quality.
Soft
MenuTM,
and
its
successor,
Soft
MenuTM
II,
allow
the
enduser
to
run
through
the
setup
with
relative
ease
since
the
entire
procedure
can
be
conducted
with
this
software.
ABIT
has
since
had
the
pleasure
of
announcing
several
new
products,
including
the
BX6
2.0,
a
revised
version
of
the
BX6,
which
has
all
the
advantages
the
Top
Product
BX6
and
much
more.
Additionally,
ABIT
presented
a
new
range
of
products
for
the
upcoming
Socket
370
for
the
Celeron
PPGA
line.
They
include
the
BM6
and
the
ZM6,
which
are
again
high
end
products
at
very
competitive
prices
that
combine
excellent
quality
with
unique
features.
