The ZM6 is a Star! AGN3D Gives the ZM6 8 out of 10 Stars!

Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. March 25, 1999- Continuing to rack up great reviews and awards, ABIT's ZM6 gets 8 out of 10 stars from AGN3D. Here are the highlights:

"If ABIT is known for anything, it's their will to go above and beyond the standard. Their boards based on the BX chipset gained a huge acceptance for their added features and ease of overclocking. They happily brought the world SoftMenu, which effectively replaced the ever-dreaded jumpers found on other boards."

"There are also some new temperature monitoring features made possible by the Socket 370 design. Because the chip is so close to the mainboard, instead of an inch or so away as it is on a slot one PCB, ABIT was able to add a temperature sensor directly under the PPGA chip. The end result is the ability to do direct CPU temperature readings from the BIOS, or in Windows using a 3rd party utility like Waterfall Pro."

"Like the BH6 and BM6 before it, the ZM6 provides a highly stable platformthe ZM6 proves to be the same overclockers' delight that the BM6 was."

"that the ZM6 makes a great choice for you power-hungry users out there, who need a Celeron PPGA system on a budget."

"All things taken into consideration, I liked the ZM6. With support for temperature monitoring of the CPU surface, SoftMenu II, and most of the other goodies that you can get with ABIT's more popular Slot 1 boards."
